Lampton School physics technician
wins Gratnells award
April 2019
Razika Berboucha, Physics Technician at Lampton School, received the Gratnells Science Technician of the Year Award for 2018/19. The competition is open to Science Technicians in secondary schools, colleges and academies across the world.
Lampton School, currently, is the greatest contributor to IRIS’ Genome Decoders, having completed over 2,700 annotations – of the genome of the human whipworm – with 44 out of 46 registered students taking part. This is largely due to the support provided to the students by Razika.
